The representatives from the parishes of our Diocese have attended the workshop organised by the Justice & Peace Department of Southern African Catholic Bishops Conference (SACBC) from 2 to 4 of September at Emaus Mission Retreat Center. The blend of the adults with life exprience and wisdom and of the youth with their ethusiasm and energy have actively participated in the training learning the ways of bringing of Jesus' love and care to the people of their communities through the Catholic Church's activities in different parishes. The Bishop Stanislaw Dziuba, OSPPE has visited them; has celebrated the Holy Mass and met with the participants. We all are grateful to the Justice & Peace Department of SACBC, as well trainers from Archdiocese of Durban for empowering us. We hope that the participants - filled with new motivation and skills will initiate the groups in their parishes to respond to different challenges that people face in their communities.
