We like to invite All to our Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes Mission on 11th of February 2012 (Saturday) for the World Day of Prayer for the Sick and for those who care for the in hospitals and at home. We will pray through the intercesion of Mary - Our Lady of Lourdes - to Jesus who is the Healer of Body and Soul for the healing of the Sick and blessings and strenght for those who care for them. Especially doctors, nurses, health workers, HBC Volunteers, the sick and their families are encouraged to participate in this special Day of Healing. The celebration will start at 10:00 am. We like to invite all the Teachers from our Umzimkulu Diocese for the special Prayer Day and Blessing of the Teachers. The celebration will be in Umzimkulu Catholic Church - Our Lady of Sorrows on 17 of March 2012 (Saturday) at 10:00. Please inform and invite other Teachers for this special day of prayer together as the the formators and teachers of future generations.
The Church of Umzimkulu - Our Lady of Sorrows Parish will celebrate the POLICE DAY on 12th of February 2012 in the Parish Church at 8:00.
We like to invite all POLICE OFFICERS for this special Day of Prayer for all those who in our communities fight the crime, corruption and protect the innocent from all kind of abuse and harm. It will be also the day when the community would like to express the gratitude for all the hard and often dangerous service our Police - Men and Women render to protect our society.

In Zulu: "Injabulo yethu ekubeni ngamaKhatholika". May this book besides the Bible and Constitution become the manual in deepening the faith of all members.
